Valentine's Day info: We will exchange cards and have a small snack on this day. If your child participates, I am asking that he/she gives a valentine to every child on our list. Here is a list of all of the students and teachers your child comes in contact with throughout the week:

Science- In science, we learned about foods that make our bones healthy and next week we will identify the medical terms for bones in our bodies.
Writing/Spelling- No spelling words for homework next week... Next week in writing, we will focus on IDIOMS!
What We're Up To:
Math-
In math class, we practiced division three ways with student-created division problems. We used repeated subtraction, pictures, and fact family knowledge to divide. Next week: Fractions!
Reading-In reading class, we focused on fact vs. opinion. We will discuss nonfiction text features next week and use this knowledge to complete research on birds. We will also make student created glogs--websites on glogster.com!
