*Tue, Nov 8th: 1st report card issued
*Wed, Nov 9th: Salisbury Walkng Tour Field Trip and visit to Sloan Park for lunch....Be sure to wear comfy shoes because it's a walking tour!
*Wed, Nov 16th: Trip to Norvelle Theater to see Junie B Jones play
UNRAAVEL strategies:
This week, students learned a strategy that will help break down math problems and long reading passages. We all use strategies to help us problem solve. We completed several reading passages and math word problems together. A copy of these are located in your child's homework folder. Also, a copy of the UNRAAVEL strategies is located in your child's homework folder. These items need to stay in your child's folder for future reference. If you have any questions about these strategies, please let me know.
What's Going On NEXT WEEK:
Math: We're starting multiplication by learning it's repeated addition.
Reading: We will be reading Trickster Tales and completing a Webquest of with 6 different activities.
Social Studies: Students are learning more map skills using an atlas.
Writing: No spelling next week!
