Student of the Week: Jordan has 4 people in her family, including 1 brother. She describes herself as funny, happy, & friendly. Her favorites: food-ice cream, hobby-skating, movie-Spy Kids 2, wish-to be successful, & memory-going to the beach with friends & family. Jordan is most thankful for her family.

What's going on...
English Language Arts:
In reading class, we focused on how to categorize details from a realistic fiction story called Grandma's Records.
In writing, we are focusing on making complete sentences. Sentences should always have a subject and a predicate.
What's Going on continued...
In math class, we have worked on regrouping when subtracting and checking answers using addition. Next week, we will work on writing our own word problems.
What's Going on continued...
In science class, students used LabQuests, which are handheld devices that take temperature, pH, etc. of samples. We answered the question, "Does heat affect the states of matter?"
